A new year of Happenings is scheduled to start soon!
The Special Needs Support Center will be hosting the following monthly events from September
2010 to June 2011, and we hope that you, your friends and your family can join us for the
fun. We will send out reminder cards as each event approaches with confirmation of the dates
and locations. For some events, we will ask you to RSVP if you plan to come and to tell us
how many folks will be attending with you so that we can plan for refreshments, space, fees,
etc. Please be aware that because of price increases in some of the entertainment and food
costs, we must now charge a flat fee for most events, although a few events will remain free.

There is now a $5.00 fee for all events except Apple Picking, the Ladies' Luncheon and the June Barbecue. (You pay for what you pick at the orchard; the luncheon and the barbecue are our treat.) If you have problems paying for any event, please just let us know, and we can waive the fee. |

The Happenings Program is intended for teens (Grade 10 or older) and young adults
with developmental disabilities. It is a collaborative effort on the part of
parents, the Hartford Regional Resource Center and Special Needs Support Center,
with the assistance of Pathways of the River Valley and the Family Support Council.
